This collection of wall quilts was created for a client to give to his children as a memory of their mother who has passed away. I was given a selection of her garments with which to use as the fabric. My inspiration came from researching the cultural references of her ancestral homeland of Slovenia. There I found both folk and contemporary art filled with images and design.
