This 3 day intensive landscape workshop is open to all levels, but with working knowledge of a sewing machine
By breaking down an inspirational photo or picture to its basic design elements, you will use fused applique to create unique works of art. Quilts are made in a collage method on a quilted background. Machine quilting completes and enhances the design elements.

In conjunction with the Quilts Unlimited Exhibition at the View Art Center in Old Forge NY, I will be teaching 2 day long classes and delivering a talk "Inspirations – Looking For Ideas, Design, and Composition"

Early on I learned that I am not a rule follower nor take direction easily. Therefore teaching original design, landscape adaptations and fabric manipulation is a perfect fit. Each class is unique both to the students and to the work they produce.

I find joy and laughter in every class and in every student. My classes and workshops are an extension of the art that I create. Bringing the creative energy into the classroom with each student is what I strive for and find great pleasure.
