I love working minimally with my landscapes. Snapshot Landscapes are simple designs taken from the more complex natural world. These start by simple sketches of perhaps 5-6 lines indicating the essence of the landscape.

They are created in collage style. Which means they are built directly on a quilted background using fusible / raw edged applique. My designs come from a variety of places. Magazines, photos, a walk all inform my ideas. The natural world offers up so many inspirations. Each measure 23" x 9" and hang in most any area of your home or office.
